Dade City has received a five-star, top-of-the-list, rating from where to retire in Florida out of over 100 cities that were reviewed. Especially noted was the warm friendliness and helpfulness of the residents.
The weather in Dade City is typical of that for interior areas of central Florida. The local schools are very good. It’s a very nice place to visit for a vacation or to raise a family.
The main roads related to Dade City are: I-75, US Hwy 301, US Hwy 98, SR 52, SR 50, CR 41 and CR 35A. The city is located about one hour northeast of Tampa.
