West Pasco County
This is where you will find the Florida Gulf Coast beaches. The major traffic artery is U.S. hwy 19. The major city is New Port Richey. The weather is typical of Central Florida, but a little cooler in summer and a little warmer in winter due to proximity to the Gulf of Mexico. The schools are high caliber. The communities vary from old and historical to new subdivisions springing up all the time.
Central Pasco County
This is where much of the agricultural property exists. Major roads are the Sunshine Parkway and I-75. U.S. hwy 41 runs through the center of its major city - Land O Lakes – this is not where the famous butter comes from, that’s in Wisconsin. The weather is typical of Central Florida. The schools are also high caliber and the communities vary from old to many new subdivisions.
East Pasco County
This part of the county also contains much agricultural property. Major roads are I-75 and U.S. hwy 301. The two major cities are Zephyrhills and Dade City. The weather is typical of Central Florida. The schools are high caliber. Most communities are older, but there are some new subdivisions as well.
